I'll Pump You Up

There’s something magical about finding a good pre-workout. In fact, the best pre-workout supplements are the ones that you can barely feel. Most people expect something resembling a sugar rush from their pre-workouts.

In reality, a good pre-workout should revitalize you, giving you a sense of increased mental sharpness and an energy boost that lasts your entire workout. MuscleTech is known for delivering quality products (just take a look at our review of Phase 8) and Nano Vapor promises to be a solid pre-workout, with just the support you’re looking for.

Taste and Mixability:

This one’s a bit tricky. Half the people taking this supplement seem to think that both Blue Raspberry and Fruit Punch are solid flavors. The other half of people taking this supplement found the taste disgusting and basically unbearable. What did we think? Well, Fruit Punch was definitely had a solid flavor profile. Blue Raspberry, on the other hand, could definitely use some improvement. The taste was actually pretty disorienting, unfortunately.

That being said, the mixability of this pre-workout is top notch. This supplement dissolves right into your water so consistency shouldn’t be an issue for anyone taking this supplement. While Nova Vapor might not be the best tasting pre-workout on the market, it clearly holds its own in the mixability department.

One of the most important factors we keep in mind whenever we recommend any supplement is the price. Obviously, we all know that amazing supplements will cost more than average supplements. Still, everyone has to keep their budget in mind when deciding what supplement to go with.

If there’s one thing that stood out to us during our MuscleTech Nano Vapor review, it’s the affordability of this supplement. For 40 servings, you’ll end up paying less than $1 a day. This pre-workout is sure to fit perfectly into any fitness enthusiasts’ budget.

The best price we found for a 40 serving tub was $30.49 at

Of course, the most affordable supplement on the market isn’t worth a dime if it doesn’t work. So, does Nano Vapor actually deliver? Well, the first thing we have to do is take a look at Nano Vapor’s ingredient list.

Right off the bat, we have to give this pre-workout credit for listing out exactly how much of any given ingredient they were using. 1.6 grams of Creatine Monohydrate, for an increase in ATP (make sure to check out our Creatine 101 article for a more in-depth breakdown). 1.5 grams of Taurine, for an improvement in mental and athletic performance and even 1 gram of L-Aspartic Acid to help your body produce even more ATP.

As if that wasn’t enough, Nano Vapor happens to have one of our favorite ingredients in a pre-workout: L-Citrulline Malate. Research has shown that athletes who used citrulline malate were able to do 50% more repetitions than the athletes who didn’t. Plus, citrulline malate has been found to help with the muscular soreness associated with high-volume weight training.

The ingredient list clearly speaks for itself, there’s no denying that. But, it wouldn’t truly be a quality review if we didn’t tell you our experience with Nova Vapor. Basically, this pre-workout delivers. With 130mgs of Caffeine, we were basically drinking a cup of coffee. Not only did we feel a subtle increase in energy, but the 50mgs L-Theanine helped keep us focused throughout our entire workout.

Side Effects:

The only ingredient that you should really keep an eye on is the caffeine. If you are caffeine sensitive, then this pre-workout might not be for you. If at any point you experience tremors, anxiety, difficulty sleeping or anything else unusual, discontinue use and consult a medical doctor.

MuscleTech Nano Vapor – Our Verdict:

As the fitness industry develops more and more, it’s only natural for people to expect more from their supplements. What would have been a great pre-workout supplement 10 years ago would struggle to compete with similar supplements today. When it comes to delivering more, Nano Vapor doesn’t disappoint. An impressive ingredient list, affordable and not a proprietary blend in sight. While the taste might throw a few people off, this high-quality supplement is not one to be missed; it might be just the thing you need to take your training to the next level.
