I'll Pump You Up

Cellucor is nothing if not controversial. Some people call them brilliant. Some people think their supplements are garbage. Sadly, these kinds of extreme opinions make it difficult to find any unbiased reviews about their supplements.
Fortunately for you, unbiased reviews are our bread and butter. This isn’t our first time reviewing Cellucor’s work (here’s a link to prove it). Cellucor’s Super HD is a weight loss supplement that promises to “Increase energy while boosting fat metabolism and controlling appetite”. Is this really the best weight loss supplement out today, like so many people claim? Or is Super HD over-promising and under-delivering?

Ease Of Use:

Right off the bat, Super HD does well by offering itself in pill or powder form. Options help supplements succeed. Some people hate pills while others can’t stand messy powder. Appealing to varied tastes is a smart business decision but (more importantly) a kind gesture to the consumer.

In terms of actually taking Super HD, it’s pretty basic. 1 pill or serving in the morning and another 5-6 hours later. After being well tolerated, an additional serving can be added to the morning serving for a total of 3 per day. The directions are pretty adamant about not exceeding the 2 servings policy for the first several days of use. Also, don’t have more than 3 capsules a day. During our Cellucor Super HD review, we noticed that most people stayed at 2 pills a day and had no issues with tolerance build-up.

Frankly, this stuff is not that cheap. At about $1.00 a day, Super HD is not inexpensive. If you need to take 3 servings a day, it will end up costing $3.00 a day. That being said, an important aspect of value is the quality of product you’re getting. So is Super HD worth the money?

The best price we found for 60 Capsules (60 servings) was $38.99 at Amazon.com.

An important aspect of Super HD is the caffeine in each serving. With 160mg per serving, caffeine is a critical part of the Super HD experience. Now, if you have a high tolerance for caffeine, chances are pretty high that you won’t feel much of an energy burst. On the other hand, if you have a low tolerance for caffeine…get ready for some intensity! In fact, some people suggest sticking to just 1 serving per day for people who have low levels of tolerance for caffeine.

As a weight loss supplement, Super HD loses some credibility because of the dreaded “blend” issue it suffers from. The idea behind their weight loss blend sounds pretty interesting, without a doubt. But, without a specific ingredient list, we’re left uncertain and unwilling to believe them. Super HD runs into the same issue with their “B vitamin blend”.

But now the real question: does it work? And the answer is yes… but not without consequences. Don’t get us wrong, Super HD does what it says it will do. Energy boosts and easier weight loss, without a doubt (at least for most people; some people will feel nothing). But what is everyone risking by taking this?

Side Effects:

Before we talk about the possible side effects, let’s break down what this supplement does.

At its core, Super HD is designed to dehydrate you and crush your appetite. So, it’s not surprising that some people can black out from dehydration or fatigue brought on by a poor diet.

The point is: when using a weight loss supplement, you need to understand that certain things in your life are going to change. You’re going to have to drink more water. You’re going to have to watch your calories and make sure you can still function. But more than anything, you need to be careful. Feeling sick? Stop taking it. Getting dizzy all the time? Don’t be a hero. Consult your physician.

Cellucor Super HD – Our Verdict:

It goes without saying that Super HD delivers on the promise of giving energy boosts and helping you lose weight. However, Super HD is a bit too buggy for most people. Inconsistent effectiveness, powerful side effects and a hefty price tag will probably steer many people away from this supplement. However, if you’re willing to look past these flaws and you really need to lose weight, Super HD might be a great supplement for you to try out.
